The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency (SMEA) has selected the winners of the “Vibrant HABATAKU Small and Medium Enterprises 300 Program.” The selected small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and small enterprises are those that are found to be superior in various fields, including: developing innovative products, creating services, contributing to the local community, revitalizing the local economy, strengthening international competitiveness by actively developing overseas sales channels, utilizing human resources including women business owners, and making efforts to develop along with unique technologies and services. The SMEA also chooses and recognizes vibrant shopping areas. These shopping districts are ones that take creative initiatives based on the understanding of their local characteristics and needs, revitalize their own districts and contribute to the development of their surrounding areas as leaders of the local community.
